My lack of posting doesn’t mean I have forgotten this little blog, it just means I am in the full grips of summer and all it has to offer.
Wrapped up my first shawl (details are on the 2009 projects page). Did most of the knitting on this on the screened porch during our unseasonably cool nights.
Enjoying the summer’s bounty. Lots of kabob grilling going on. Lots of sweet corn preparing and eating as well.
And a trip to the drive-in. One of those things we don’t do often, but I wish we did.

oh man! kebabs!!! I wish I could bbq, but I can only use an electric grill on my “new” deck and everyone knows that grilling includes FLAMES.

I miss drive in’s so much. In WA I lived about 10 minutes from one. Out here in MN the nearest one I’m aware of is about an hour away.

I am jealous of your drive in. I don’t think there is any in a 100 mile radius of us.
I’m guessing you don’t have a nearby cemetery that screens movies on the side of the mausoleum though.
