Give me a little sleeping in, an early lunch prepared by my beloved which includes fresh sweet corn and stir in a little bit more relaxing and you have the recipe for a perfect morning. We didn’t venture out until after lunch. We did attempt to avoid the crowds, but found ourselves immersed in them, so we retreated back to the cabin a bit. The beautiful weather beckoned us and we ventured to areas unknown and found ourselves in a beautiful 18-mile route through the Great Smoky Mountains. We meandered along a beautiful stream, filled with others enjoying the gorgeous day with a little float.
We dined at the Bull Fish Grill and headed back to the cabin for a fresh bottle of wine, some more hot tub time, great conversation. . . the most appropriate capping off of a good day. Alas, tomorrow we make our way back to reality.
Renewal. Revival. I need some more of this.
