A quiet morning in the Highlands followed by lunch at a new spot was the perfect way to begin a busy day. We enjoyed the state fair, spending time admiring quilts, perusing rows and rows of photographs, eating street food and hanging out in a big tent drinking Blue Moon and listening to old school country music. The concert (Maroon 5 and Train) wrapped up the evening. I love live music. Had forgotten how much I love it. Loud, rockin’ and almost more fun than I could handle.

  1. Looks like a lot of fun! that tie skirt is supah kewl and the steam punk circus is pretty neat-o too. Though I probably would have loved the concert the best, too.

  2. I bet those concerts were a blast. And what an interesting tie skirt! That would certainly gain people’s attention while walking out and about.
