We soaked up this beautiful autumn day, taking the scenic route. We meandered at the fiber festival despite the drizzle. I claimed my yarn fines, proudly carrying to the car. We ate lunch at a the Frederick’s Cafe, perhaps the most rule-oriented diner I’ve ever visited.
We celebrated the marriage of her daughter. We basked in the glow of their youth, beauty and hope, proud to be part of it. We snuck out in time to finish packing before tucking ourselves in bed. We’ll have an early morning and long drive ahead of us.
