Today is his day. He’s off to great places, he’s off and away. My oldest nephew will graduate this evening and I am still amazed at the kid. Kind, sweet, funny, smart, affectionate and ours.

I started the morning with some quality time with my sister-in-law. We don’t get that often enough, but I am left each and every time wishing we had more. Kind, flexible, intuitive, unflappable and sweet. Yarn shops, coffee, record stores. I could have a whole day of it.

Eventually we got to the point of the matter: my oldest nephew and his graduation. Tall, looking more like a young man than ever before. . . I was proud, bursting interally.
