Sweet May. You passed so quickly. You were so full and fun. I’m excited about June, but I’d love to have another May.

In May we planted our summer garden, and it began to deliver summer’s bounty.

We ventured south, very south for beautiful oceans, time together, historic jaunts and amazing vistas. We rested in hammocks, formulated plans, removed ourselves from the daily grind and found amazing peace.

We celebrated holidays and birthdays. We sat outside and listened to amazing music. We visited with dear friends. We watched too much television. We walked along the riverfront. We listened to inspirational speakers. We opened our own version of a veterinary clinic, caring for aging kitties. We read. We sat on the porch. We welcomed warmer breezes and spring storms.

May, you brought us many memories. . . and helped us welcome summer.
